Santa Cruz Jazz Festival

Call time is 7:45am for an 8 o'clock departure, they're planning to be back around 6:30pm.

The Santa Cruz Jazz Festival is this Friday.  Jazz A will be on stage at 4pm in the Crocker Theatre.  General admission is $10 for parents and chaperones.

The left image below is the performance schedule for all groups.  The map image is the campus map of Cabrillo College.  All parking is $2 on Friday, and will be enforced.  All events take place in the new music facility, VAPA buildings 1000, 4000 & 5000.  Several professional Master Classes are available to students during the day.

This event is more relaxed, at an excellent venue, and well worth the effort to attend and support our musicians.

Campana Jazz Festival Results

Jazz A placed 3rd out of 7 "A" competitors, with 254 total points!  Jazz B was just one point behind the winning group in their division, and Jazz A had some tuning issues that won't happen again.  Make your plans now to see the competitions at Woodcreek and Santa Cruz.  You won't want to miss the winning performance when it happens!
